By Grit Alone is a brand new narrative-driven VR horror shooter, and it is coming to Quest this 12 months.
Developed by Crooks Peak in collaboration with Meta and the UK Video games Fund, By Grit Alone options writing skills like Antony Johnston (Useless House, Resident Evil Village) and Emma Beeby (Choose Dredd, Physician Who). Described as an “intense” motion horror recreation that plunges you into the depths of house, you will encounter derelict starships and ravenous aliens in a combat for survival.
Revealed on the UploadVR Summer time Showcase, By Grit Alone affords a sci-fi anthology of narrative tales, and Crooks Peak says you must count on “darkish, brutal, and bizarre tales of cannibalism, cults, sentient biofuel, and extra.” Set within the “Bermuda Triangle of house,” you are armed with an adaptive shotgun because it duties you with navigating wreckage and rogue AI as you fend off alien swarms.
“Fly between ships, dodge asteroids, and navigate treacherous environments, all whereas being immersed within the sounds and sights of this cosmic nightmare,” states the studio in a press launch.
By Grit Alone reaches the Meta Quest platform this September, and you may pre-order it now with an 11% low cost.
