Nintendo and Calbee introduced a brand new potato chip collaboration with Splatoon 3 that features a new regional Splatfest and squid ink-colored potato chips. The collaboration will seem in Japan on March 18, 2024. [Thanks, Game Watch!]
The squid ink-colored Calbee potato chips shall be Consommé flavored. The one distinction with the common Consommé chips is that the colour used for the flavored powder is black, imitating squid ink. In the meantime, the brand new Splatoon 3 Splatfest for March 2024 shall be potato chips-themed. This Splatfest shall be unique to Japan, with a special theme showing abroad. The query requested is, “What do you consider potato chips?” The three groups represented are salt, consommé, and nori seaweed flavors.
