WayForward’s Sigma Star Saga Announced for Modern Consoles and PC, Out in 2025

Between Clock Tower: Rewind, Yars Rising and Shantae Advance: Dangerous Revolution, WayForward has its arms full with upcoming releases. Add another to the record with Sigma Star Saga, launching in 2025 for contemporary consoles and PC.

Introduced throughout the developer’s Anime Expo 2024 panel, the fashionable Sigma Star Saga runs on Restricted Run Video games’ Carbon Engine. Whereas noting it wasn’t a sequel, the event crew mentioned there is likely to be one “down the street.” As with Dangerous Revolution, the title will probably be out there on a Sport Boy Advance cartridge.

First out there for the Sport Boy Advance in August 2005, Sigma Star Saga is a mix of side-scrolling shoot ’em ups and top-down role-playing gameplay. Gamers management Allied Earth Federation pilot Ian Recker, working as a double agent within the Krill Empire. There are six planets to discover and over 70 objects to customise one’s ship.
